There’s a stigma that hearing loss is a condition exclusive to the elderly, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Hearing loss affects people of all ages, even newborns. That’s why we offer services for children with hearing disorders, including hearing evaluations, auditory brainstem response threshold testing and distortion product otoacoustic emissions. We’re also accept most insurances for pediatric care, including Medicaid.

Georgia law requires all newborns be tested at birth. Dr. Thomas works closely at the local and state levels helping to be certain that no child slips through untested. Dr. Thomas is the medical director at ARMC for the newborn infant hearing screening program.
