Athens Hearing and Balance Clinic has expanded and moved to our new location off Epps Bridge Parkway in order to better serve our patient's hearing and balance needs. 

Dr. G'Anne Thomas' practice specializes in auditory and equilibrium issues, including the prevention, diagnosis and non medical management of hearing loss, hearing aid fitting, repair and maintenance, aural rehabilitation programs, tinnitus evaluations, and balance assessments. 

Dr. Thomas is excited about her recent affiliation and certification with the American Institute of Balance, where she is recognized as a part of the institute's prestigious worldwide network of vestibular and equilibrium specialists.  The American Institute of Balance is nationally and internationally known for it's expertise in testing and rehabilitation, helping thousands of patients who were told "learn to live with it" to return to normal lives.  Dr. Thomas works with your physician to assess the origin of your vertigo or dizziness. 

Dizziness is the number one malady for those over 70.  Balance related falls account for hundreds of thousands of hip fractures and more that one half of accidental deaths in the elderly each year.  Many patients typically go to five or more doctors before a diagnosis for vertigo is determined.
